2008 HOME RUN FOR HUNGER- House Raffle Official Rules
Please read carefully. (These are also available from the Maryland Secretary of State's office, for the cost of copying.)

1. The price per ticket is $100.00. Payment by credit card, Visa or MC, can be made online. Checks can be made payable to Food Link, Inc. and mailed to Annapolis Community Bank, 1419 Forest Drive, Suite 10, Annapolis, MD 21403. Raffle ticket form that can be downloaded from the site must be included with the check.
2. The tickets will be collected in the order received. Checks will be deposited upon receipt. Checks returned for insufficient funds or other reasons will disqualify the ticket.
3. All payment must be received prior to the end of business on October 8, 2008.
4. A minimum of 7,000 raffle tickets must be sold in order for the drawing to be held.
5. All prizes are subject to and the winners are fully responsible for federal, state and local income taxes. Food Link, Inc. has no responsibility for the payment of any taxes associated with the prizes.
6. Winners must accept ownership of the prizes within two weeks from date of drawing or forfeit the prizes.
7. The Winner of the Grand Prize will be responsible for all real property taxes and assessments accruing after the date of closing and all federal, state and local income taxes associated with the prizes.
8. Winners of the first, second and third place prizes are responsible for any federal, state and local taxes associated with the receipt of a prize.
9. There shall be no substitution for the listed prizes by the Winners.
10. The $100.00 ticket price is not deductible for income tax purposes as a charitable donation.
11. Food Link, Inc. reserves the right in the event that 7,000 tickets have not been sold by August 1, 2008 to extend the project 60 days with the drawing to be held November 1, 2008 at the Food Link Blue Jean Bash event. If by the date of October 8, 2008, 7,000 tickets have not been purchased, Food Link, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the above listed prizes and return the purchase price of the ticket to the ticket holders minus a 1% processing fee.
12. Food Link, Inc. will convey the property to the Grand Prize Winner by general warranty deed free and clear of all liens, encumbrances and easements and restrictions of record and applicable zoning laws and regulations.
13. Winner(s) need not be present to win.
14. Participants must be 18 or older to enter the raffle and be eligible for prizes.
15. Prizes are not transferable.
