These heartfelt testimonials are from our Anne Arundel neighbors who have been helped by Food Link.

Sandra
"I met the folks at FoodLink about 6-7 years ago. I have 5 kids (20,19, 17, 16, 15). I'm not sure what I would have done without FoodLink. They have been there for us every time we are in need. FoodLink's an angel. Don't have to worry about paperwork or prove your income or having all the kids' Social Security cards. With FoodLink all we have to do is call and ask for help. They are interested in helping you and making sure people don't go hungry. They are truly genuine."

Alan
"I was a trucker for 41 years - after a bad accident I have not been able to work. At first I was reluctant to ask for help. Then when I met the people from FoodLink I knew they were my angels. FoodLink is an avenue when there isn't anywhere else to turn. They help immediately with food. It means my grandkids and kids will have food to eat.
God Bless FoodLink a 1000x!"

Sandy (Her boyfriend was in a coma.)
"After losing my job in computer software and suffering through a very serious medical issue I found FoodLink when I was losing everything. They have helped us with phone bills, food and most importantly I feel I have someone to talk to that cares. Asking for help is humiliating - they make you feel welcome - they listen without judging. You leave here feeling better about things, about yourself. There isn't anything FoodLink hasn't helped me with!"

"Janet"
"I come to FoodLink mostly during the holidays. A co-worker gave me their name when I was really down and out. It seems things always come to a head during the holidays with the phone bills and the electric bills. Sometimes it feels like I can never catch a break but FoodLink has been there to help me. It means so much to me and my family. It means that we will have food on the table for the holidays."

Charles (Bought a house, his hours got cut, adopted his niece, a special needs baby. Charles met FoodLink about 3 years ago at Christmas time. He has a large family and always wants to help others but he didn't have the means.)
"FoodLink is made of wonderful, caring people. They are there whenever you need them. I have tried to give back working with the Young Father's Program and delivering food to others through FoodLink."

Teresa
"I don't even know what to say - they listen to your story. I was dumped off another list two holidays in a row. When I called FoodLink they volunteered to help me and my kids. And it's not just the holidays - a couple times during the year they have helped me with food and rent. I work 2 jobs and still it was the worst year ever for me. FoodLink has a big heart - they have saved me many times from being put out on the street and they never asked any questions. FoodLink should get a humanitarian award."
