How Food Link Works

collecting foodSurplus and excess foods such as produce, deli items, dairy products, meats and baked goods are donated by area grocers, restaurants, caterers, growers and individuals.

packing food donations
With the help of volunteers, Food Link organizes and facilitates the collection of these products to distribute to recipient agencies and directly to those who are in need.

receiving donated foodA wide variety of people ultimately benefit from our services: the newly unemployed, young and single parent families, battered women, the elderly, mentally ill, disabled, the working poor and children.
